The coffee shop

I know I have a hard time keeping this up but I am not a big writer and I think very few actually look at this. But anyway.

I often go to coffee shops to do my homework just for a change of scenery. Well one of the places I go is to a place called flip side. It is an interesting place and it will soon be changing because someone else bought it out. But one of the things I found interesting as I am sitting here now is the many diverse people that come in here. You have the business men and that come in and do work from here or discuss strategies with their colleges, then there is the college students that sit here and do homework for hours (that is me), the last group is the 17-23ish group that comes in plays cards, talk, And go out back to probably do things they should not be doing. But what is so interesting is that they all seem to get along and it has become like a strange family in a way. There are people who come here everyday and get to know each other where in other circumstances they would not even talk. The sad thing is it will all probably change because of it changing owners. The new owners don't seem as open to the young people and almost gave them the cold shoulder while I was here. It will be interesting to come in here in a few weeks and see if it is the same or if the interesting dynamic that is here is lost.
